This is the first website in Costa Rica dedicated to providing a comprehensive guide and consolidated list of the country’s tarantulas.

As a project of www.crwild.com, our goal is to serve as an educational tool that highlights the diversity of these fascinating species, promotes their conservation, and increases awareness of their ecological importance.

15 out of 45 tarantulas have been photographed with a white background, with 31 still pending in this format.

Additionally, 25 tarantulas have been documented in any type of photography, while 20 remain to be documented.
